The Minister congratulated Captain Al-Khatib on the confidence of the General Assembly of the Club, wishing him and the Board of Directors success in performing their duties to develop the work inside the walls of the Red Castle.
The meeting, which will be held in preparation for the match between Al Ahli and Atletico Madrid, scheduled for December 30 at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, under the slogan «Peace», and the President of Al Ahly club donated the game in return for the martyrs of treacherous terrorist acts.
The Minister of Youth and Sports stressed that the ministry is providing all support to Al Ahli club for the success of its historic match against Atletico Madrid, which is held to support peace and allocates its revenues to the martyrs' families.
