The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) highlighted Ahli's victory over Zamalek 3-0 in the game of the 17th week of the Egyptian league, and criticized the continued fall of the White Castle in the Cairo derby for more than 10 years.

The BBC said the defeat of Zamalek that the node in front of the Ahli continues and lost Ihab Jalal his first match with Zamalek, who has not won the Ahli in the Egyptian league competition since 2007.

"The match between Ihab Galal I and Zamalek ended with a 3-0 defeat by Al Ahli in Cairo on Monday," the BBC said.

Zamalek's last win over Al Ahly was 2-0 before 3886 days on 21 May 2007.

Since then, Zamalek have been able to win Ahly in the Egyptian Cup in 2015 and 2016.

Yesterday's match was the first between Egyptian football poles at the Cairo International Stadium since 2014, where matches were held away from the capital for security reasons.

Although local matches have been held in Egypt for nearly seven years, 500 fans have been allowed to attend last night's match between Ahly and Zamalek.

Ahli's victory over Zamalek meant the Red Devils were two points clear of Ismaili, who won only 16 matches, while Zamalek are fourth, 11 points behind leaders Ahli.
