Al-Ahli Football Club suspended for Al-Joul on Zamalek request to transfer its African matches to Cairo Stadium
Tharwat Sweilem, Executive Director of the Football Federation, said he would address the security authorities to inform them of Zamalek request to transfer their African matches to Cairo Stadium at the request of its president Mortada Mansour.
Zamalek will face Villaita Descha on March 18 in the African Confederation's second leg after defeating Ethiopia 2-1 on Wednesday.
"Morteza Mansour called me a little while ago and told me that he wanted to move Zamalek from Suez Stadium to Cairo Stadium," said Swailam to zamahlawy1.blogspot.com.
"Morteza told me that after he saw the audience in the match, the Monana decided not to put any tickets for sale and will be limited to attend in the meeting Zamalek members of the club and sports teams."
"I will inform the Ministry of the Interior and the Cairo Security Directorate of Mortaza's request and we await their response with approval or not, but so far there is no positive or negative decision on this request."
Mourtada Mansour said earlier that he would transfer the club members to Cairo Stadium in 100 buses and stressed, "We can not earn 100 thousand pounds from selling tickets to the game, and then pay one million pounds of the damage of the stadium
It is worth mentioning that Ihab Galal, the Zamalek technical manager, expressed his desire earlier to play the African team in the army stadium in Suez because of the quality of the pitch.
